Our History

Our first sale in 1993 was inspired by a similar sale in Georgia.

So began the creation of our own children’s consignment sale.

Our sale grew over the years and became the preeminent
children’s consignment sale in Lexington, KY.

A ministry extension of Centenary Church, we welcome sellers and shoppers from across the region to help fill their closets and help us support those that need it the most.

We host 2 sales each year, one in spring for the warmer seasons, and one in fall for the cooler seasons. You are welcome to sell, shop, volunteer, or all three! See our registration page for details.

Our lil’ lambs closet committee is comprised of Centenary Church members, working year round to bring you the reliability and quality you expect in your consignment purchases.

Each sale we prayerfully consider how we may best assist women and children with the proceeds that we receive from these sales.

Since that initial sale, the lil’ lambs closet has donated over
$1.8 million to women and children’s charities and ministries in Lexington and around the World.

lil’ lambs closet now contributes more than $54,000 each year to local and global childrens’ causes and ministries.
